THE FAR POST DAY

A Regular day at Farpost starts at 10am.  Kids will take part in an age appropriate group warm up and then choose choose their activity for session 1 where they will be coached in a specific element/skill within the sport.  After a drinks and snack break Kids wll choose their sport/activity for session 2 where skills will be developed in fun modified games.  After lunch kids choose their activity for the final session comprising of matches and tournaments.  We finish off the day with some special awards, challanges and medals for camper of the day.  On a Friday every camper receives a medal and trophies/t shirts are awarded for personality and camper of the week.  The regular day finishes at 3pm.
  • Extended days are available and run from 9am to 4.30 (9-3 for October camp)

  • Kids will continue to take part in stimulating and active sessions during extended periods.

  • Children should bring a packed lunched to camp along with some snacks for energy througout the day.

  • Children will also need a water bottle that can be refilled at camp.

  • We provide squash and some fruit for Kids at breaktime

  • Children should apply sun protection before arriving at camp on sunny days.

  • We will provide sun tan lotion for re-application throughout the day.

  • Many children love to play the same sport for all 3 sessions, but you can change sessions at any time to provide a variety of sports and activities throughout the day.

  • We offer football, cricket, tennis, multi sports, table tennis, arts and crafts, chess and drafts.
